Learn boating safety, from the pros.
Students from Christopher Columbus High School are invited to participate in a full-day boating safety course designed to meet Florida’s requirements for boat operators.
Led by certified instructors from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, this course covers the essentials of safe boating, from navigation basics to emergency preparedness, and concludes with the official exam for your boating safety certification.

Schedule
· 7:45–8:00 a.m. → Check-in
(Please arrive on time so we can start class at 8:00)
· 8:00–12:00 p.m. → Morning Session (Chapters 1–3)
· 12:00–12:40 p.m. → Lunch break
· 12:40–3:15 p.m. → Afternoon Session (Chapters 4–6)
· 3:15–4:00 p.m. → Final Exam (taken electronically
on your smartphone/tablet; less than 45 minutes)
