How can you make a difference?
The Monica Burguera Foundation is proud to participate in Give Miami Day, one of the largest and most impactful annual giving events in the country. Hosted by The Miami Foundation, Give Miami Day empowers our community to come together in support of local nonprofits working to make Miami a safer, stronger, and more connected place to live.
By supporting MBF during this important event, you help honor the memory of Monica Burguera and fuel our mission to promote boating safety, expand lifesaving education, and prevent injuries and fatalities on the water. Your contribution directly supports our free boating safety courses, outreach programs, and community initiatives that help keep families safe.

This year, Give Miami stretches across six days, beginning Saturday, November 15.
Early Giving: November 15–19
Give Miami Day: November 20
Give Miami Day Matching Gift & Bonus Prizes
In addition to your individual donation, the Monica Burguera Foundation is also eligible to win extra matching bonuses & prizes made possible through generous corporate donations.
· Matching Funds
Organizations will receive a $25 bonus for each UNIQUE individual donor. Up to $1,000 maximum bonus (40 unique donors).
· Early Giving Prize (Individual)
From November 15th – 19th, one randomly selected donor will receive a $500 prize each day.
· Early Giving Prize (Organization)
One small, (<$250K), one medium ($250K-$2.5M), and one large organization ($2.5M+) that receives the most unique gifts during the Early Giving period will win $1,000.
· The First Gift
The organization that receives the VERY FIRST GIFT on Thursday, November 20th will receive $500.
· Early Risers Prize
One small, medium, and large organization will each receive a $1,000 prize for bringing the most number of UNIQUE GIFTS from the start of Give Miami Day at 12:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20th.
· Midday Magic Prize
Three organizations (one small, medium, and large) who bring the most unique donors from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on November 20th will win $1,000 each.
· Coffee Break Boost
Three organizations (one small, medium, and large) who bring the most unique donors from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 20th will win $1,000 each.
· Twilight Triumph Prize
Three organizations (one small, medium, and large) who bring the most unique donors from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on November 20th will win $1,000 each.
· Night Owl Prize
Three organizations (one small, medium, and large) who bring the most unique donors from 9:00 p.m. to Midnight on November 20th will win $1,000 each.
· Record-Breaker Prize 1
The non-profit that receives the 51,756th gift will win $1,000.
· Record-Breaker Prize 2
The non-profit that receives the 109,785th gift will win $1,000.
· Record-Breaker Prize 3
The non-profit that receives the 39,578,801st gift will win $1,000.
· Lucky Debut Prize
One organization participating in Give Miami Day for the first time will receive $1,000.
· Issue Area Bonus Pool Prize
10 randomly selected organizations across 10 issue areas will receive $1,000. (Animals, Arts & Culture, Community Care, Economic & Community Development, Education & Youth, Environment, Faith-Based, Health & Wellness, Human Rights, Advoc & Civic Engagement, Inclusion & Accessibility)
· Show Us Your *Donation Dance*
Three organizations (one small, medium, and large) that get the most “likes” on their post during Give Miami Day on November 20th will receive $1,000.
